How the Smart Locker Vending Machine Works
The AZ Lattice Cabinet automates the full pickup process — from order notification to door opening — with no staff involvement at any stage.
Step 1 — Item Loaded
The merchant, delivery driver, or operator loads the order into an assigned cell. The locker vending machine sends an automatic notification (SMS / app push) to the customer with a unique pickup code.
Step 2 — Customer Arrives
Customer approaches the smart locker vending machine and scans their QR pickup code or taps their RFID membership card. The system validates the code and identifies the assigned cell instantly.
Step 3 — Auto-Open
The designated cell door opens automatically via the smart locker's recognition system. No staff, no manual key, no queuing. The transaction is logged to the cloud dashboard in real time.
Step 4 — Pickup & Close
Customer retrieves their item. The door closes and the cell status resets to "available" — ready for the next order. Full transaction audit trail available in the operator dashboard.
